Notes: hilaryscribbles, I hope that you enjoy this, and it's not too far out of left field or too angsty. It was prompted by your liking of crazy fantastical AU, and I really wanted to write HayaRyu. I am a bit worried that I have stomped … ummm trodden on your request for no really really really really unhappy akame - I tried to keep that in mind, so no akame here, but there is angst and angsting and some unhappiness, but I tried to keep the spirit of it going throughout. And je-hols mods you rock as always. And beta-chan who coped with me.
Summary: Hayato has a surprise for Ryu, and just for a moment he forgets where he is and what he is doing, and acts on a whim. The consequences might change everything; for both of them.
